Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray cautioned that the coronavirus menace is still looming over people’s heads like a sword of Damocles. The Chief Minister was addressing at a virtual ceremony to commemorate the opening of the Palghar district headquarters building complex, as well as civic and government-run health facilities in Virar and Vasai.
“Coronavirus is still looming like a sword of Damocles over our heads, and the threat is far from ended. It’s great that oxygen plants are being constructed as part of the COVID-19 hospital construction “According to Mr. Thackeray.
The chief minister said Palghar was unique among the state’s districts since it featured both forest land and sea coast, as well as a rich tribal culture and historic sites.
Palghar has been neglected for a long time because it is so close to Mumbai, and he believes it will not be in the future.
The virtual inauguration of the administrative complex, which includes the collector’s office, Zilla Parishad office, and DSP office, was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, ministers Eknath Shinde and Dada Buse, MPs, MLAs, and senior officials.
