NEW DELHI: A day earlier than the sixth round of talks between the protesting farmers and the Central authorities, farmer leaders have been invited to fulfill Union House Minister Amit Shah at 7 pm on Tuesday.
“We’ve got a gathering with the home minister at 7 pm at present. We’re going to Singhu Border now and from there we are going to go to the Home Minister,” Bharatiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait instructed reporters.
Notably, after the fifth spherical of talks remained inconclusive, Union agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar has referred to as one other assembly on December 9. Leaders of farmer teams have held a number of rounds of talks with the government up to now.
1000’s of farmers are protesting towards the three newly enacted farm laws- Farmers’ Produce Commerce and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Value Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
