In one of the numerous films depicting Afghans attempting to flee Taliban rule, three people are seen purportedly holding on to a wheel of a US plane flying out of Kabul and plummeting to their deaths. Many individuals uploaded a video showing stowaways that looked like dots falling from the plane, including Tariq Majidi of TOLO News, who wrote: “Three Kabul locals who were attempting to flee the nation by hiding next to the tire or wing of an American plane dropped on the rooftops of local people. They died as a result of the dreadful conditions in Kabul.”

A throng crowds the airport runway, following a US Air Force plane, while a group is seen huddled on the wing of a plane taxiing before take-off in new videos from Kabul.

Increasingly frightening videos depicted the chaos in Afghanistan following the Taliban’s weekend capture of Kabul, as well as the despair of many attempting to evacuate the city.

At least five people were killed in the airport when thousands swarmed the tarmac, attempting to force their way onto planes departing from Kabul. It’s unclear whether they died as a result of a shooting or a stampede.

After the Taliban stormed the presidential palace and President Ashraf Ghani fled the country, mobs of women and children began gathering outside the Kabul airport yesterday night, ready to flee.

Many people were observed attempting to scale the barricades and squeeze past barbed wire this morning.

To prevent crowds from rushing onto flights, US Marines fired warning shots into the air.

As evidenced by the footage, some of them seized aircraft wheels and wings.

The airport is being handled by American soldiers as they attempt to evacuate their employees and close Afghan allies. Residents of Kabul, on the other hand, rushed to the airport with their goods and no licenses or visas, hoping to catch any flight out.

Afghanistan’s air space was restricted as a result of the downward spiral. Flights from the United States that were already in the air had to divert to the Middle East to refuel.
