Indie Tamil films ‘Parallel Lines’ to premiere at Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival

The indie film which marks the directorial debut of Kiran R might be seen nearly

The upcoming Tamil indie, Parallel Lines, can have its world premiere at the Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival (MISAFF), which can go on until December 12.

Written, directed, and produced by Kiran R, who labored as an assistant to veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam on Kaatru Veliyidai, Parallel Lines is claimed to be a crime drama. Beforehand, Kiran has made a number of short films and the first poster for Parallel Lines was launched by Madras Talkies, Mani Ratnam’s production firm, in September.

Starring theatre actors Vatsan M Natarajan and Masanth Natarajan, the movie is shot by Sundar Ram Krishnan and has the background rating by Santhan Anebajagane. In response to a press launch, the movie was produced with the assistance of crowd-funding and was shot in and around Coimbatore under 25 days earlier than the COVID-19 pandemic.
