On the 400th anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur’s birth, celebrities pay tribute to him

The 400th Parkash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur is being commemorated on May 1 this year. The day is mostly observed by the Sikh community since it commemorates the birth of the 9th Sikh guru. He is also regarded as a scholar who has made significant contributions to the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh holy book. 15 ragas, 782 compositions, and 116 shabads are among his other works. Mughal emperor Aurangzeb beheaded Guru Tegh Bahadur in Delhi. On November 24, his death anniversary is commemorated as Shaheedi Divas.
