The first shipment of coronavirus vaccine in arrives Spain

The first shipment of the coronavirus vaccine to enter the country has arrived, the Spanish authorities say.
The government said Saturday morning that after making the journey from Belgium, a truck carrying the vaccine made by Pfizer arrived at a company warehouse in the central city of Guadalajara. It is the first component of what the government estimates would be an average of 350,000 doses in weekly shipments.
The first vaccine will be administered at a nursing home in Guadalajara on Sunday morning.
Over the next 12 weeks, Spain expects to collect more than 4.5 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine, enough to immunize just over 2.2 million people. It will mark the first step of the national strategy for vaccination.
