Vivo V21’s rumored April 27 launch date has been confirmed, Vivo V21 may be released at the end of this month
The Vivo V21’s rumored April 27 launch date has been confirmed. According to a Moneycontrol study citing industry sources, the Vivo V21 may be released at the end of this month, on the same day as the smartphone is expected to be released in other global markets. The launch comes at a busy time for the smartphone industry, which will soon see the release of devices like the Oppo A74, Realme 8 5G, and Xiaomi Mi 11 in the coming weeks.
In comparison to last year’s launch, there are a few main differences that are expected this year in Vivo’s V series smartphones. Although Vivo launched the Vivo V20, V20 SE, and V20 Pro in India at the same time last year, the report claims that Vivo would initially only launch the V21 in India, with the V21 Pro and other series variants to follow at a later date.
The Vivo V21 is expected to have a 44-megapixel front camera with eye-tracking autofocus, which the company has previously marketed with the V20 series. A 64MP quad rear camera with optical image stabilization and a night mode are among the other claimed features of the V21 series. In line with Vivo’s latest aesthetic of making slim body smartphones, the company is reportedly going to market its devices as the slimmest 5G smartphones on the market.
Despite featuring features such as gimbal stabilization in flagship devices such as the X60 Pro and X60 Pro+, Vivo has adapted to and retained a modern design language that includes a slim body. Meanwhile, the V21 is expected to be a premium mid-range smartphone priced around Rs 30,000, with a camera-centric user interface similar to that of its predecessor. More information about the device’s specifications and other important details will be released in the coming weeks when the device is expected to be released in India.
